The work behind
the name.
The Los Angeles Blade is a digital and monthly print newspaper that serves as SoCal's leading LGBTQ+ News Source, dedicated to inclusive, relevant, and important issues. By and for the LGBTQ+ community. This year, we celebrated our 8th annual Best of LA Awards show, celebrating almost a decade in business. Our parent publication, the Washington Blade, is the longest-running national LGBTQ newspaper. We are the only queer publication that is in the White House press room. Our publication remains free to our over 40K readers per issue, 250K unique site visitors per month, and our growing social media. In addition to our publication, we present and take part in a number of community events, remaining highly visible in our community.
